Need opinions/ideas about these middle names!?

Ok so we have decided on Kailyn for our baby girl but haven't decided on the spelling because we can't agree on a middle name. My hubby wants "Joy" for her middle name but I'm not sure, I prefer "Jade". What do you think:

Reply:I like Jade... But Kailyn is kind of odd, to me. I think I have an aversion to Ys. It sounds kind of pretty, though it makes me think of kale the food.

Reply:Alone, I like Jade better. But when paired with Kailyn, Joy sounds better. It flows better. Also, I like the spelling Kailynn best.

Anoher idea is middle names that the girls can use to create an identity. Like "Ruby and "Pearl" or "Daisy and Rose." A good one for boys might be "Smith and Wesson", ....just a thought.

Reply:Personally, I like Kailyn Joy better because I think it sounds better with your last name. Kailyn is one of my favorite names but I prefer it spelled with a "C": Cailyn but the "K" is just as nice.


Also if you do decide to go with Joy, finding another important middle name could be easier than you think, just look at grandparents, aunts, favorite cousins and besides realistically the person's name you select to give your daughter as a middle names doesn't necessarily have to be female and you can achieve that same symbolism.

Reply:Both names are beautiful. I like that your husband wants to use your middle name for your daughter. And if you have another daughter, why not use Joy for her middle name as well? I know a family with 4 sons, who all have Robert--the dad's name--in their name. They didn't want anyone to feel favored, over the other.

Reply:um well jade is growing in popularity and jaden is one of those super popular names but it is the middle name so it doesn't matter as much. i like joy. and you could always go with faith or grace peace or something for another girl.

Can you try a variation of his name for a daughter and a variation of your name for a son%26gt; The way Will and Jada Pinkett Smith did by naming their boy Jaden and their daughter Willow? Other then that I think Kailyn Joy is very nice. At least you have a nice middle name to pass along.
