What do you think of these girl names?
Abbey is like where the nuns live. Abby is like shortened for Abigail. Its classic and timeless--my first choice. Kara is also very nice. Maddie is way over used as is Olivia and Emily. Kelsey is luke warm. I vote for Rose as the middle name. It's gorgeous and not a filler like Marie or Anne.

Reply:I love Kara Rose! Kara Noelle Smith is a good name too. Just be careful with a name like Abbey Smith. You don't want a middle name that starts with S. I don't like the other first names though. Olivia, Emily and Maddie are too common, and Maddie is a nickname. Not too crazy about Abbey and Kelsey. Jade sounds like a stripper name to me and Kayla is ok. Anne is just too plain.

Reply:I would avoid really common names since your last name is Smith (she would probably have another person with the exact same first and last name) so that cuts out Abbey, Maddie, Olivia, and Emily.





Out of the remaining two, Kelsey and Kara, I prefer Kara. Kelsey is kinda dated.

Reply:My name is Kelsey Lynne - so obviously im partial to that one...BUT I do like Maddie and Abbey. I find that having a first name with 2 syllables and a 2nd name with 2 syllables difficult to say, maybe make the 2nd name with 3 instead, or even 1 syllable...Just a thought.
