Names for the new baby!?

A lot of people are not crazy about my boy name I have picked out, but it means a lot to my husband and I. What do you all think? I don't know what I am having yet so we picked out a girl and boy name. The girl name is Abby Jade just because we love the name. The boy name is Price Edward because my maiden name was price and my husband's middle name is Edward along with his father and grandfather.

Names for the new baby!?
Hun, those names ar really cute and they will fit that baby really greatly! Price Edward is so adorable. I have never heard of Price as a name so thats a plus too. I am so into the wierd, yet outstanding names and hun.... those names fit in that category!!! And Abby Jade is an amazing name... it is adorable in it's very own way!!!
Reply:I like both names. The boys name is very original. I am also a fan of different names and my sons name is my maiden name and his middle name is just one we liked and thought sounded good. His name is Fuller Grant. I also have a another boy on the way and are thinking of more boy names. The girl name is cute. If I had a girl I would name her Abigal after my grandmother. Her middle name would probably be Grace. My husband and I thought all of our kids names should start wiwth G because both mine and his do, Gregory and Greta.
Reply:Go with what you want. If you dont you'll regret it. Dont worry about what everyone else thinks about it. It's orginal %26amp; when your child is 5 %26amp; you are screaming for him in a park, a million kids with the same name wont come running to you!

BTW, Abby Jade is too cute! I love it! Price Edward is orginal %26amp; if its what you want go for it!
Reply:Your boy's name is probably one of the few boys' names I've liked - stand your ground the name is FINE
Reply:Love them-we used names from family too.
Reply:Price is very unique, and the meaning behind it is special. even if your son at some point is questioned about his name, he'll have an explanation other than, " my mom wanted to be different". "My momwanted to give me a peice of her family history", is endearing and adorable. Be aware that people will call him Prince accidentally all the time, but I say go for it.
Reply:girl, stick with what you have... dont listen to what everyone else says about the names... you will regret it later if you change the name, once the baby is here, you wont beleive how much they will start to like the name. also..... i think those names are awesome
Reply:I would honor your husbands' family and name a boy Edward, period. Abby is a nickname for Abigail. Name a girl with a real name not a nick name. Jade is an asian name. Are you asian?

BTW, it's my husband and ME. You need to grow up a bit there, honey. You sound like a giggling teenager.
Reply:In this country you can name your kid whatever you want. It's all up to the the parents. But, might I suggest that you name the boy Edward Price instead of Price Edward. It just flows better. I still love the girl's name though. Good Luck.
Reply:i wouldnt do price as a first name because he will get picked on it on school and will always be like why'd you name me that and he will feel ashamed dont put him through that
Reply:The names you picked are perfect! Especially since they have family value....Love them!!
Reply:It is your decision as parents for your baby (and good luck and congratulations to you). Seeing as you are asking, I would suggest you think about what it would be like for your son to have such a different name. People might confuse his name with Bryce or Prince or something else. It might be character-building, but as a child, he might really not like being picked on and not knowing anyone else with the same name. Maybe he could be Edward Price and call him Price at home - that way he can choose if he wants to go by a more common name in the world (and still have family meaning with both). Or keep the Price Edward as middle names and have a different first name. Another idea would be to talk to male friends with unusual first names like Price is and see what their opinion is.
Reply:I love Abby Jade and Price Edward.
Reply:Love both.. Price is hot
Reply:great names
Reply:personally i love em both, i wouldnt use em but i like em very unique. i dont think anyone would have a name price, so he wouldnt have to worry about being one of 5 price's in his classroom. the girls name is adorable, but i do like abigail Jade instead of just abby jade, abby is such a cute nickname tho....but thats just me i like the longer name thing. but she could be one of many abbys in her class. but it is a very strong name lasts very well throughout life
Reply:They girl name sounds good to me! I know a little boy name name Price Henry. The only thing that I have a problem with in the boy name is that it almost sounds like you are saying "Prince Edward." My kids are Cade Ryan and Sierra Joan. If I have another girl it will be Bailey Grace and a boy will be Bryce Weston. How about Bryce Edward?
Reply:I think Price is cute as can be!!! I would definately go with that
Reply:switch it around to edward price %26amp; it sounds great
Reply:both are wonderful choices, mom!
Reply:I think your names are absolutely lovely. Price is nice for a boy. All of my children have some sort of meaning to me %26amp; their father %26amp; the best part about it all is they always ask to hear the story of how we came up with their names. Stick to your guns, your guys' are the parents %26amp; it's your child. Good Luck!
Reply:my friend just had a girl a few weeks ago and named her abby (abbigail) jade ......its so sweet and beautiful...

but have to agree that edward price sounds better.....

BUT price edward is not bad at all
Reply:I like both of the names! I like the boy name because it means something to you and your husband and because it is different! You choose something you like! Forget what the rest of the world thinks! Now with that said, it is a cruel world and people would make fun of someone for a name! But I think that Price Edward is nice!
