Do you like our names?

Okay. I'm seeing all these baby names and it just made me want to tell people some of the names in my family. These are first and middle names.


My name is Marquita (mar-kita) Sharmaine


My baby's name is Imani (emoni) Janaya


My husband's name is Tewayne Necomuse


My twin brother is Marquis (marcus) Jermaine


His 3 kids are Camron Joey, Tianna Jade, and Ariel Janelle


His wife is Clelia (claya) Marie


My mom is Odilia Armendina


My dad is Joey Orand.


So do you like any of these names? Many unique names and that's what were going for :).

Reply:We did make up a lot of our names. We wanted something new and different. We didn't want the same old, normal baby names that everybody else uses. All the babies that come into our family will also have unique names. Report It

Reply:I LOVE THE NAMES! I'm surprised that kids aren't confused by all the uniqueness, but then again, you likely have nicknames and such. Your names are awesome! No one could ever possibly not know who you are!

Reply:I like the uniqueness of them.....but I would have paired a more traditional name with each. Oh heck I'll just say it. Those names are very ethnic. It's been scientifically proven that college and job applications have been weeded out based on ethnic names.





Don't get me wrong, I like them. Especially Tianna. I guess the job and college thing just popped into my mind because that's where I am in life right now.

Reply:nice to hear, hard to pronounce.. i wonder how your kids do when their kindergarten teacher ask them to say, spell or write down their names.. definitely some alphabet went missing or turn upside down.. after all, i really really love those names..

Reply:There are some names that are quite cool; Marquita, Imani, Odilia, Orand. They seem rather classy. Sort of exotic sounding and lovely.
