What do you think about these names?

We are talking about having a baby, I just have few health issues to sort out first. But here are the names I'm tossing around. Let me know what you think. Our sirname is Dewing.

Majella Raine


Hannah Louise


Abby Jade





I also love the name Jalise (JAY-LEESE) but can't seem to find a middle name to fit.





Boys:


I can't decide, there aren't that many I like. Hubby wants to go with Monaro (as in Holden Monaro) but I am not so sure, It's growing on me though, but I wonder if it is wise.





Anyway, throw me your thoughts.

Reply:I like all the girls names except Majella...reminds me of magellan, the explorer guy...of the other ones i like Abby, but with a different middle name...like Raelin...thats one of my favorite middle names for a girl, and that sounds awesome..Abby Raelin Dewing...Or Jalise Rose, Jalise Sydell.....for boys dont name him Monaro...my thoughts on it are not good...Aiden is cute, Cade, Joseph, Anthony...they all sound good with the last name...Good Luck! And im sure whatever you choose will fit the baby perfectly!

Reply:Don't hate me- you want HONEST opinions I hope? First the good- A girl- Ariella is beautiful and elegant! I also LOVE the name Raine as a middle name. So, my vote is for a combination of the two- Ariella Raine- perfect! I actually wanted to name a child Arianna Raine. On the other side-Hannah Louise is going to have people thinking you felt obligated to name her after some of your very elderly relatives. Sorry!


No, I don't think Monaro is wise if you are in the US. It sounds Italian and I don't dislike it but the kids are going to be cruel and I won't list all of the things they could do with that name. I think for boys you almost have to stay somewhat traditional. I would think using it as a middle name with a more traditional first name might work. Then when he was older, he could use it or not.

I don't like the name Monaro at all. I've never heard it before. I do like Holden though.

The name Jalise IS very pretty, and I think it goes well with the middle name Michelle.
