What would you name your baby...?

if you didn't have anyone else's opinions to take into consideration (like a spouse or nosy family members, for instance)?

For a girl I like Kyrie (KEER-ee-ay, not KIE-ree) Skye, Ruby Genevieve, and Rhodora Jade.

For a boy I like Theodore Joseph, Sterling Emerson, and Ephraim Wade.

What would you name your baby...?
I have always liked Genevieve but considering most people would create a nick name to shorten the name I would not give it to my child. I also liked Analissa but thought people would call my child Ana.

My other picks are

Sabina Jolette for a girl

Dante or Gavin for a boy
Reply:Boy:

Aaron Nicolas

Girls:

Paulina Denise

Pillar Mirella
Reply:we don't take anyone elses opinions into consideration, if we had been pregnant with a girl her name would have been, Mazzy Jones ****** but we are having a boy so his name will be Eli Alberic ******.

My first is Jacelyn Victoria, second is Tristan Nathanial and third is Alice Mary Marie.
Reply:Kyrie Skye and Ruby Genevieve are absolutely stunning names! Theordone Joseph and Ephraim Wade and fantastic!

Kyrie is like the Orthodox Prayer Chant, right? I remember hearing this as a little kid in church. It always sounding beautiful to my ears.

Rhodora Jade sounds made up, but if you love it, use it! It sounds a bit contrived to my ears, and I think you have some better choices with Ruby Genevieve (love, love love!)

Sterling Emerson is too trendy for me, and it will give away his age immediately as he grows up. I much prefer Theodore Joseph (Teddy!)

Congratulations on your baby!
Reply:girl -%26gt; Presley Marie

Marli Faye

Magi Marline

boy-%26gt; Jackson Lee

Memphis Ryan

Reply:The name I gave my daughter was the one I wanted. My bf had no problem with it, so there was no arguing. (See, I shoulda known he was a lazy, good for nothing father back then! LOL) And my mom thought the name was too popular, cuz my sis has a friend with the same first name (except for spelling) but I didn't care cuz I liked it for so long so I used it anyway!
Reply:My favorite girls names were Larkin (didn't work w/ our last name) and Teagan (DH hated it).

Favorite boys names are Huntington and Charleston, but I have all girls so it never became an issue!
Reply:I like caleb and Kennedy for boys . For girls i like Kaelin, Kaitilynn, Kenadie, Kendall, Kendra And Kartlin
Reply:For girls I like Madison, Gwenivere, and Zoe. For boys I like Joseph, Kaden, and Kenneth.
Reply:I don't think KEER-EE-AY flows...it sounds like some type of bacteria cream. KY_REE is ok.

Genevieve is cute I think.

Rhodora??? Like DORA the explorer? yuck.

Jade is nice.

Theodore? what century are we in? u need to get with the program. That name is so ancient, I think he would be pissed at you. Sterling? like Sterling Silver? ( I feel sorry for him) and what is Ephraim? i don't even know what that is and how you are suppose to prcn that?!
Reply:I always wanted a baby boy named Sterling Reese.... everybody else HATED the name so I went with Quinton Avery instead. With my second son I loved Malakai... everyone HATED that one too, so I named him Braxton Ross. My third one I liked Miles Isaiah and everyone LOVED it... well I decided I didn't care what everyone else liked and I named him Zayden Isaiah.... go with whatever you like.

Reply:Stop trying for the "most creative name" top prize and go with something traditional and simple. Think of how the child will feel growing up. A name should not define a person.
