The Truth About Life

A bundle of innocence,

Oblivious about the pricky thorns .

A piece of heavenly caution ,

Unfazed by the imperfection .

A bird flying in the air of red love ,

Unaffected by the importance of time .

Is a baby’s life .

A symbol of boisterous nature ,

Keeping the internal pragmatism closed eye .

A laugh of innocence at other creature ,

Feeling nothing for another’s feel .

A flow of questions as a preacher ,

Dealing with nothing answerable .

Is a child’s life .

A glint of fear for tomorrow ,

Dwindling to find the future .

A search for importance with a sorrow ,

Jumping to unseen conclusions .

A work for tomorrow without any borrow ,

Trying ways to stop time .

Is an adolescent’s life .

A hunt for a position ,

Vibrating for one to another to find stability .

A power to face rejection ,

Holding on to the mist of god .

A want to be god’s best creation ,

Improving imperfections all time .

Is a young adult’s life .

A stamina for working sun to moon ,

Preaching suggestions every time .

A jaded soul longing for a free afternoon ,

Speaking unplausible false truth .

A wait by his family in a room ,

Waiting for their sun to arrive .

Is an adult’s life .

A touch of the lazy comforts ,

Growing high love for family .

A respect in the eyes of others ,

Covering the body with a smooth armour .

A leaning towards god at the edge ,

Finding unmeaning in meaningful things .

Is an elder’s life .

My brother in law write poetry and has had about 7 books published and he's no p00f. Your poem seems to be about life and beliefs, growing up as a child and heading into adulthood and maturity. I enjoyed reading it!
Reply:Don't ever let anyone knock your passions. I think it's great - keep it up!
