What is your preference in spelling for these names?

I am having a baby girl in March. I really like this name. Which spelling do you prefer? Emilyse or Emmalise?? Her middle name is Jade.

Thanks for your input :)

What is your preference in spelling for these names?
Emmalise, and I'll explain why. People will read the name Emilyse and see EMILY and say Em-ily-see instead of Em-il-eese. Emmalise looks pretty and you will have more people pronounce it correctly when they read it.

I like Emmalyse too.
Reply:I love Emmalise. I may sound a bit biased, but that's my baby girls name and everyone loves it. We couldn't figure out a middle name to go with it, but my husband and I found a name in our church bulletin, Kiana. So Emmalise Kiana was born and I think it's a beautiful name, unique too. Report It

Reply:I really like and prefer Emmalise Jade!

I prefer the Emmalise spelling.
Reply:That is funny. I am having a daughter in March also but, I am naming her Jade. I have not picked out a middle name yet but, I like Emmalise. Very Pretty.
Reply:I like it spelled Emmalise but Emilyse looks more unique
Reply:Emmalise jayde
Reply:Emilyse Jade...pretty! :)
Reply:Emmalise definitely.

It's classier looking, Emilyse just looks kinda made up %26amp; going for that 'way too unique look'.

Emmalise Jade is beautiful. congrats!!
Reply:I think Emmalise is too long. Emilyse Jade is perfect!!! Congratulation's!!!
Reply:Emmalise.... congrats
Reply:It depends, I would pronounce Emilyse as Em-i-lease and Emmalise as Em-uh-lease. Personally I like the way Emmalise looks and sounds better. Good luck!
Reply:I think Emmalise. It looks pretty, but it's very easy to pronounce when reading it. More straightforward than Emilyse - that just looks too confusing and takes too long to actually figure out what the name is supposed to be. Definitely EMMALISE! Very beautiful name!
Reply:Emilyse - it looks good w/Jade

(see)Emilyse Jade

Good Luck %26amp; God Bless
Reply:Emmalise
Reply:Emmalise, it looks easier to pronounce.
Reply:Emmalise :D

Reply:I like Emmalise. It's does look classy! Very cute!
Reply:I like the second spelling best. Good luck!!!
Reply:i like emmalise spelling better. the other way looks to weird and most likely people wont say it right which is rather annoying. also i think that emmalise jade is buetiful good luck!
Reply:LOVE THAT NAME!!! My husband LOVES Emily but it is boring by it's self. I love it spelled Emilyse. Emmalise looks wierd. How about Emalise! Kudos to thinking of it.
Reply:EMMALISE...I THINK IT LOOKS VERY PRETTY AND ELEGANT!!!
Reply:Neither, that's a wierd name!
Reply:Definitely Emmalise out of your choices. I kept wanting to type Annaliese, though. It's a cute name, and the Emilyse looks confusing, madeup, and silly.

Would you consider Emmaliese, to keep the name closer to Annaliese? Either Emmaliese or Emmalise.
Reply:Well -i'd follow how to spell Anneleise...

So, Emmaleise..
Reply:Emilyse
Reply:Emilyse, looks better but Emmalise can be separated so she'd have the option of 3 names.
Reply:That is a beautiful name.

I prefer the spelling Emmalise and I will tell you why: it looks more like name that has existed for generations. For that reason, it has timeless appeal and a strong quality to it.

Emmalise is similar to names Annaliese and Emmanuelle, which are both beautiful names.

Emilyse is pretty too, but it looks more like the trendy "modern" names of today as so I think would not survive the test of time as well as Emmalise. It would sound dated in 20 years. It's very cute, don't get me wrong, but I think that a beautiful name is better than a cute one.

Also, Emmalise can be broken into Emma and Lise, giving her nickname options.

Very pretty name! I love Emmalise Jade. It sounds beautiful.
