Adria Jade -Dislike. Aria or Ariadne are cute, unusual names. Adria isn't bad, but would be confused her whole life.





Hannah Jade -Like. It's a very common choice, but I like it a lot more than a lot of other names out there.





McKenna Nicole -Dislike. I hate Mc names. That said, Makenna Nicole would get a thumbs up from me. Makenna isn't a 'creative' version of McKenna, it's a separate African name meaning 'joy', which is also a much nicer meaning than 'son of Kenneth'. Plus, it neatly sidesteps the issue of the capital in the middle of McKenna, which is a huge pain in the bum for standard computer systems.





Mikayla Ann -I'm sorry, I can't stand Michaela spelled any other way. Michaela is the correct way, and all the others are much more common, so it's more 'unique' anyways.





Boy:


Alexander Adam (we'll call him Xander) -Like. I don't like the name Alexander for personal reasons, so I wouldn't use it, but I really like Adam, and Xander is a cool, modern nickname.





Mason James -Like. I don't love it, but it's a fine name. I love James, but I'm biased. If Bean (due in December) is a boy, he'll be James Kenneth.





Hayden Michael -Strongly dislike. The Aiden trend is overdone and boring. I like the name Hayden, but seriously, over 100,000 kids born last year have a name rhyming with Aiden, and a good ten percent of those are Haydens, Hadens, and Haidens. I would pick something more distinctive, like Harris, Hugo, or Landon. Michael is a strong, but common, middle name. Nothing wrong with Michael.
Reply:I like Hannah Jade but find Jade quite plain and boring. Hannah Jane or Hannah June would be lovely though. I don't like any of the other girls' names, McKenna and Mikayla are very trendy choices that scream "year 2008 baby".





Alexander Adam is very handsome and I like Hayden Michael a lot, although -ayden names are very overdone at the moment. I don't like Mason but love James. Alexander James or Alexander Hayden would be very handsome.

alexander adam is nice i really like zander as a nick name.


mason james is good james mason is better i think.

Reply:I think it is awful how parents are sticking their kids with these ridiculous long wierd spelled names. And everything is a "Son" Jackson, Mason, Madison, .... unless your father is Jack don't name the kid Jackson... OK? I know a girl who has all presidents last names for crying out loud on three kids! Jackson, Madison and Tyler! She didn't even know it until I told her ...LOL.. So Please stick with something you can pronounce and everyone can spell. SO I would pick Hannah or Hayden Micheal. PS: You have a lot of A -sounds in your choices....
