Reply:For a boy I'd choose Tristan Blake or Landon Cole. They are all good names though. Very unique. For a girl Eden Lee or Reece Jaylene. And as I said great names. Good Luck!!!
Reply:Personally, not a big fan of any of the boys names, they all sound kind of feminine to me. However, what about using the middle names as first names? I like all of the middle names! My order of favorites goes;


1.Cole


2.Blake


3.Jack


4.Ryan (I don't like it as much because it's one of those 2 gender names.)








As far as the girls names, I'm not really into any of them. I personally love the name Linley, Lynley, Lynlee, or Linlee. I think it's unique, but people still know how to pronunce it, AND know it's a girls name upon seeing it. Also, if you were thinking Lee as a girls middle name, it's usually spelled Leigh for a girl, Lee for a boy.

Keiran Jack -due to the popularity of Keira, I would not recommend this name unless you have a Celtic surname.


Peyton Ryan - I like it. Realize that it is tremendously popular due to Peyton Manning. There is some risk in using a celebrity name in case the celebrity does something bad.


Tristan Blake - I love this name, but Yahoo!Answers folks thumbed it down. Nickname Tris. I have loved this name ever since I read it in All Creatures Great and Small.


Landon Cole - I do not like the name Landon. I also associate it with Michael Landon (sorry, never got over his philandering). Cole, on the other hand, is a great name.





GIRLS:


Eden Lee - Nope, too hippy for me.


Kiri Jade - I like Kiri but Jade is overused.


Shayleah Ruby - I like this name.


Reece Jaylene - Reece is a welsh boy's name that has been feminized. I'd prefer Reesa. I like Jaylene.

Reply:I hate to say it but you picked all the names that are in every Kindergarten class right now as far as all the boys names go. They're fine if you want your boy to be in school with 5 others with the same name. When he's an adult his name will be as common as Bob, Bill and Frank were in the 40s. Every boy nowadays seems to have a name that ends in "an/on/en". Boooring. The worst offender right now I've noticed is Caden. In 3 years the schools will be full of them.





Peyton, or Payton, right now is very common for a girl. And highly common for strippers as is the name Jade. (Sorry)





Shayleah, Reece, Jade, Payton and all similar spellings are also in every school right now.





The only one that is even remotely unique is Eden or Edan (boy) and depending upon where you live, maybe Kiri.





Don't pick a name that is following a trend. You'll be sorry and you're child will be a "number" in school. Right now we have 3 Payton's in my daughter's grade 4 class. All girls. Picture the teasing a boy would get. We call one Payton P for her last initial. The other two both have T's for their last initials so either we call them by their first AND last names or we say "blonde" Payton.





I feel sorry for them and they hate it.
