Would jade have been branded racist if she had taken the pee out of Irish Scottish or the welsh?

well the whole jade thing has come up once again and reared its ugly head. i for one feel deeply sorry for her loss of her baby. im not the biggest fan of hers and she did get on my nerves in both the big brother shows and i would rather watch paint dry than watch her on the tv but in this situation i thought well i have to say somthing about it. now if jade would have been RACIST about the scottish irish or the welsh would she have been given the brand racist. i think not so for me this is all double standards and the press and media and you people would not have even fluttered an eye lid. i feel deeply sorry for this young woman and i think its about time everyone got off her back and let her get on with her life. we have had one attempted suicide from this and this is going on way to long....

Would jade have been branded racist if she had taken the pee out of Irish Scottish or the welsh?
Instead of watching tat such as Big Brother, or worrying about talentless tarts, you may be better served studying some basic English. There should be a comma between Irish and Scottish, plus loads of other places in your posting. Welsh and the first word in each sentence should start with a capital letter. To your credit at least you are not brain dead like those who write in sms language - so well done for that.

As for Jade Goody - she is a waste of space. No one deserves a miscarriage for sure. Let's not forget, however, that on the same day it happened to her, it would also have happened to hundred's of other girls around the world and they a) do not bleat about it in the papers (sympathy vote I suspect) and b) do not have millions of pounds that came to them for being talentless, to fall back on. So excuse me for thinking that there are an awful lot more people deserving of my sympathy. As I say I don't wish her the misfortune she has had but no one forced her to talk about it to the media - do not be duped.
Reply:I hate Jade Goody. Give her a compliment and see how her ego goes up.
Reply:No of course not...Its just the liberal do_gooders spouting their nonsense again..
Reply:I dont think Jade is racist anyway it was a Class issue- so maybe if your Scottish and posh maybe she wouldn't like you. It was Dannielle who was racist and Jacko was too and Jades bloke. This needs to be dropped its gone on too long now theres bigger issues in this country.
Reply:I don't like that woman, I think she's vile but to answer your question, I don't think she would have been branded racist if it had been an Irish, Scottish or Welsh person in the picture. The main thing is, that Shilpa Shetty has done absolutely marvelous out of her 'ordeal' and it can only happen here. Just look at the recent nastiness Shipla received in her own country for kissing a guy (Richard Gere) in public. If they lynch her in her own country like that then what can she expect abroad? Well, an A-list celebrity status!!! I think too many people listen to, and more importantly, believe what the media says. People form opinions they never had based on what they hear on the telly. This whole issue sucks.
Reply:Good point.i doubt very much anything would have been said about it.im not a fan of Jade, though i think she keeps it real and doesnt act like someone that she isnt.I think she got a raw deal, especially in comparison with the other 2 girls on the show, who in my opinion behaved far worse.think that its all gone a bit too far with the whole race thing.im totally against any form of racism, as i think most people are.but in this country its all got a bit silly, and the programme makers etc have to cover their own arses.
Reply:I think most people recognise that it wasn't racism, but bullying (this is a very old topic!).

Also, there was some footage that was even worse that was never shown.
Reply:Well firstly I am sorry for this woman losing her baby but to be honest I'm just sick of hearing about her antics and her stupid remarks. In answer to you question, I'm Welsh and I've had and still do have lots of remarks about being Welsh and some mickey taking (my accent, being called Taffy, the sheep thing etc!) but I don't take offence, I take it in my stride. I've never been really bullied over it although maybe I have sometimes but I have just learnt to rise above it and develop a thick skin. People seem to make a mountain out of a molehill these days, why can't we all just accept we're all different and get on with it!
Reply:no of course not, there is and has been a north/south divide in the UK for years - my brother moved from Edinburgh to Liverpool, where he had a Cockney boss - and he called him all sorts, but it was in jest. We have gone to extremes to wipe out racism it is stupid. Some nurseries sing Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep instead of Black Sheep - where is the logic in that????
Reply:More importantly, would she have been branded a racist if she had been black and had taken the pee out of white people?
Reply:I don't know the person you are referring to. However, if it is "Jade" that has attempted the suicide, then she needs to understand her POV.

Bottom line about racism is this.........Who cares? Let the old die with their ways and educate the young. You will not change the POV of the old, so don't bother trying. lol. Let them die with it.

Wait till we land on Mars in 2020. Men %26amp; women stuck together for long periods of time will certainly end up producing babies. Then what will we hear? "Earthlings, Hell, they're lazy, I wouldn't hire or trust an earthling!"

Sounds really dumb doesn't it? Well, that's what racism sounds like coming from ones mouth. So, bottom line.........Teach the young! Promote an united earth!
Reply:Yes it is racist, I see this alot on brittish tv especially when it concerns the germans and the french.

Just because the colour of our shin (in most cases) is the same, our countries and cultures are different.

Many irish people living and working in the Uk have sued and sucessfully won Cases of racism when the word paddy has been used
