The truth about my baby names ( i want opinions)?
I really like theses names because they are unique....Just remember one ting when choosing a name..you want to make sure you look at the meaning of the name because when you are calling your lil girl her name you want to make sure it has a good meaning...For ex. if you named her MALLORY that means bad omen so everytime you say her name you'd be saying bad omen, thats just my opinion though. I like the name Desiree Grace. Pretty names.
Reply:well im partial to madison as thats my littles ones name buut just something to remember Madison was number two last year for baby girl names so your child could very well end up in a classroom full of certain names.

I had a name picked out for our daughter until she was born but that changed when I laid eyes on her I named her Amber LeeAnn. You need something that doesn't sound like a rhime. Good luck!

Just be careful of any name that sounds like it could be the pseudonym for an exotic dancer. (Amber is a common one. Most gemstones are, in my opinion, a little borderline.) Your child will have her name for life. Also, be sure to pay attention to what her initials will spell out. No PP or TP, etc... Kids can get pretty mean on the schoolyard.





Other than that, I like Lindsay, Alyssa, and Samantha. They are pretty and feminine names. When I was teaching and doing daycare, I never had two Lindsays in a class. I usually had at least two Madisons, two Emmas, and two Hannahs. I also saw quite a few Brookes, McKenzies, and Haleys. Not every eight-year-old can pull off names like these. Also, the more unusual a name the more likely it is to be constantly mispronounced and/or misspelled.





I see that you are Irish. Ever consider a great Irish name like Caitlynn, Maura, Shannon, Finola, or Maureen?

Reply:Here's what you want to do. Imagine to yourself, your daughter all grown up, in a suit with a briefcase, waiting for a big job interview. There are lots of other confident people in the room. the receptionist looks up and calls her name... Evian Chante??? What you want to go for is something that won't sound so bizarre that her employer will snicker when he looks at her resume.

Reply:How about in stead of Haley Paris, use London Paris. London is such a beautiful name and Paris just seems to fit. Harmonee Marie is pretty also. Out of all the names you have listed, I like my two choices best. Sorry about that.

To me, Peyton is a boy's name.





Stay away from stuff that other people won't be able to spell or pronounce correctly. (Sisely, Sabirse, Cassundra ) You don't want to curse your child with a name that is constantly spelled and pronounced wrong all her life.





Amber Violet sounds like you're reading off a box of crayons.





I don't like Alexia Latoya together since they both have the same sound at the end of the names. Maybe try those names with a different pairing?

I love the name Madison that is my favorite, keep in mind about selective names like Jasmine because if it sounds black it hurts them as far as jobs believe it or not they did a show on babies names and please do not think I am being racist, it was a fact that the blacks were being overlooked with names like Latosha, Natosha because employers assumed they were black so they toss out their applications. You want a name that is not that is not the top 10 baby names either, I just love Madison, I also like Hunter, Kennedy, as first names what do you think?

Lindsey Marie, Britney Dawn, haley Paris, evian Chante, Christina brooke - All sound like names that are obviously based on celebrities or products





Madison Brooke, Madison Hope, Keegan Sabirse, Makayla Jade, McKenzie Dupree, Peyton renee - these are first names that sound like last names





Andrea Tiara, Alana Ciara - these names rhyme and make the person's name seem comical





The rest of the names not mentioned seem good and is up to you
