Baby names, what do you think of these?

What do you think of thses names? Veronica Jade or Alyssa Jade for a girl and Jai Maxwell or Jackson Maxwell for a boy? The middle name for the boy needs to stay as its my husbands grandpas name and he wants him to have it, and he also wants a name that starts with a J like his name (Jeff) Do you have any other J name suggestions?

Baby names, what do you think of these?
I really like Veronica Jade or Alyssa Jade for a girl. Jade is a beautiful stone just like your daughter will be. Excellent choices. Personally, I prefer Jackson to Jai. It all depends on your last name and how Jackson and Jai flow with it. Very few people go by their whole name; most just go by first and last. Definitely honor a family member, I have my grandma's middle name, and it is a special connection between us. My daughter, my mom and myself share a name. It is my mom's middle, my first, and my daughter's middle name. Amazingly, my husband named my daughter and wanted to do that for me. I did get brownie points with my mom; she thinks we named the baby after her. I named our son; he shares his initials with his dad. With number 3 on the way, we plan to honor my husband's dad and favorite uncle if it is a boy. If it is a girl, it will share my and my grandma's middle name.
Reply:like Alyssa but not Jade. I dont think you can have Jackson Maxwell cos it doesn'r "flow"[ 2 lots of 2 syllable words] I know this isn't right cos my name used to be kathleen Jackson before I was married. Like Jai though

Reply:If you can't figure out a name, go online and check out the baby name sites or purchase a baby name book to get more of a variety. It sounds like your husband wants the name to start with a J for whatever reason.





To be blunt the name Jai for a guy sounds pretty gay and it rhymes with gay too. You don't want kids picking on him because of that. I would stick with Jackson or maybe even Jacques because his nickname could be Jack or Jac.

Reply:My sisters name is Jade and my nephews are Jai and Jackson so I love all those names. My son is Jarad and my cousin is Jett which would also go with Maxwell as a middle name. I am not fond of Veronica but Alyssa is quite nice.





My favourites would be: Jai Maxwell and Alyssa Jade from your list. Nice choice of names by the way!!!

Reply:I would not recommend 'Jai'. There was a kid in high school named that and he was made fun of a lot for his name for some reason. Veronica Jade' is lovely. James is a very nice 'J' name, or Jordan :)
