What is a better name for a baby girl Ashlynn Jade or Ellie Grace?

My husband loves Ashlynn Jade where as I love Ellie Grace, any input please!

Ashlynn is a cool name. Not common but not strange at all. I like Jade as a nickname better than Grace because it's more unusual--I think middle names should be interesting.





Ellie Grace seems boring and plain to me.
Reply:aaww there both adorable names! I like Ashlynn Jade because Ashlynn is cute and modern and I like the Jade but I don't think Ashlynn Jade flows that well. I like Ellie Grace becaus Ellie is both cute and modern but when she's older it would be great too, I like Grace and I think this name flows better. People might think her name is Ellen though. Maybe you could mix it up with your and your husband's suggestions... Ashlynn Grace... Ellie Jade..? Whatever you choose I'm sure it will be beautiful. Good luck and congratulations!
Reply:I personally prefer Ashlynn Jade. Ellie Grace sounds more old fashion ans like an elderly woman and you do need to think about if the baby will like the name when it gets older.

Try to avoid baby names like these. They are not cute little babies all their lives. Try to avoid trendy names and pick a name that will serve them well all their lives and at all ages. Frankly, the name Ashlynn sounds made up and a bit too cutsy. Names like Christy, for example, will sound rediculous when one day you are dead and gone and they're someones' grandma.

sorry, but i cant stand the name Ashlynn. it sounds like they couldnt choose between Ashley and Lynn so they combined 'em.





you and your husband could always combine names like Ellie Jade or Ashlynn Grace, so both a name you like and a name he likes is in your daughters name
