Did God kill Jade Goody's baby?

Jade goody says that she believes that her miscarriage was a "punishment from God".

Do you believe that a God would murder an unborn child to "get at" the mother? If he would doesn't that make him evil?

Did God kill Jade Goody's baby?
Oh, poor cow. There is no God, of course. It wouldn't surprise me if the stress and abuse she's suffered contributed, though.

It was fascinating to see how the Great British Public won't tolerate victimisation - unless they're doing it themselves.

Reply:Stupid cow.
Reply:No, Jade is saying that because she is feeling guilty about something and thus cannot punish herself so she sees it as God's punishment. A miscarriage is an act of nature - there is usually something wrong with the embryo or the environment it was created in - nothing to do with God, just one of those things. God does not punish anyway because he loves us all - sinners included.
Reply:I do not believe so.
Reply:no fairy tale god killed her baby
Reply:she had a miscarrage? dint no tht, but god wouldnt do tht would he?
Reply:And that was spouted forth from the mouth of a person who's sanity is in question?
Reply:Of course, NOT.
Reply:The previous poster "Paul" says :

" if u say no to this question then you are admitting that you god is not all powerful and does not exist,................ "

You`re saying that in order for God to show he is all-powerful and does in fact exist , He is obliged to murder the unborn !

You are an illiterate moron that hasn`t got a clue about anything !

If you don`t know what the hell you`re blubbering about , you should stick to the "Mental Health" forums ................. asking questions , NOT answering them !!
Reply:Only if a god really existed... which it does not.
Reply:No I don't believe that.

There are hundreds of physiological reasons why miscarriage occurs and in this case, it is purely a cruel twist of fate that Jade lost her baby. I have never liked her behaviour, but could never wish something so awful to happen to anyone and I do pity her.

I dont believe God hands out punishments. If that was the case, why are there not terrible things happening to all the"evil" people like murderers, rapists, paedophiles etc? I know she perhaps hasn't acted in the best ways at times, but I can't see anything Jade Goody has done that is bad enough to merit the loss of a child.

Life is just cruel sometimes.
Reply:Its just one of those things and its easier to blame some one than see it for what it is, The child was not meant to be and the body works in its own way.
Reply:God does not do that. Why does eveyone blame God for everything or anything? That child who did not have a chance to live, is now living in Heaven, as all babies whether aborted or misscaried are precous to God, and all of the little ones or in Heaven, and are learing about God, and will get a chace to grow up in Heaven like children grow up here on the earth. That little soul is safe in the arms of Jesus.
Reply:For goodness sake!!!!

I am sick to the teeth of so called 'celebrities'.

If it was anything it was natures way of healing, perhaps the infant would have been deformed or something, so nature stepped in to ease it's pain!
Reply:Nice question... not true that it is punishment by GOD. The related questions are as below and you can find the answer at the site given.

1. Does God Really Care About Us?

2. How We Can Know There Is a God?

3. Why God Has Permitted Suffering?

4. What Has Been the God's Purpose Moves?
Reply:I do feel that this is a tragedy.

I also can see how she and others would blame god as people keep saying that god is responsible for everything, yet the same people contradict themselves if saying that isn't beneficial which proves thier hypocrisy.

Lots of homophobic people blame AIDS and other stuff on god though. I am an athiest

Edit: people blame god for when people die of aids or there's religious loons in the US who are happy that soldiers and the victims of 9/11 died
Reply:No, that would be nature that cause the baby to die. maybe it's the stress of the hate inflicted on her.
Reply:Oh ffs!
Reply:No, she's just saying that to try and make a mends for what she said to Shilpa Shetty. Not even religion can help you now love!!
Reply:No she's looking for a scapegoat.
Reply:He allows things for different reasons. He is good and perfect. That baby was not meant to be born. Maybe it was deformed and not able to survive outside the womb? Who knows? He does.............

let's say it did go to full term and was very sick and deformed..............would the pain be more then!? This is not sounding right, but do you get the gist?

He doe know best. TRUST
Reply:It depends on your definition of God.

Myself I see God as nature and everything is part of nature, including what man makes, as it is in mans nature to make it.

So it was natural for the baby to have died God (nature) killed it, nature can be very cruel, but it is not Evil, Evil is mans concept, not natures.

Even the God of the Bible didn't judge things to be evil, it was Adam and Eve who saw their nakedness as being wrong, after they saw things as good and evil.
Reply:Its more likely an abnormality with the foetus and her body naturally terminated it
Reply:No. God wouldn't take the baby as a way of punishing the mother.
Reply:Who are you to question God? He works in mysterious ways and he is the alpha and the omega and beginning and the end and he deals with the infinite and his acts are there to stand for all eternity, rather than the finite span of our lives. Do you think God would be evil if he had killed Hitler in his mother's womb or another child born of ignorant parents who would grow up with the money but not the brains to propogate ignorant ideas? It is obvious that all works are the acts of God as he is omniscent. The Lord is omnipresent in the Big Brother house and will be ready to smite Ziggy for his inequities and is now stoking the fires of Hell for Chanelle but his judgement will be reserved for Sam and Amanda for he is displeased with them and on the day of Judgement their names will be marked and the deepest pit of Hades where the feculence of Judas drips will be their dwelling place for all eternity.
Reply:Miscarriage happens for various reason. Now to blame God for it, I think Jade is taking it a step too far.
Reply:I read that too how deluded does she think the public are trying to win us over by saying that.

No one in there right mind wud believe a word that comes out of her mouth.

No doubt her publisist thought up that comment for her to sprout

off shes been shown to be the vile person she is she cant back track now
Reply:I don't believe that for a second! Miscarriages happen, sadly but they do. The are usually because the baby wouldn't be able to live outside of the womb. I am sorry that she lost her baby.
Reply:The devil will use any means at his disposal to push us away from God. Jade Goody is falling for his deception. Nature is the reason she lost her baby. Stuff happens God is there to help us through, that is why he gave us free will.
Reply:You Said "Jade Goody" Believes that, doesn't mean it is true.

Pain and suffering and all that we go through is because of Sin in the world.

Suffering is the result of human sin. The world is not the way that God created it and because of that, all are vulnerable to the affects of sin in the world. Why does one person suffer and another does not? Why do catastrophes happen to some and no others? It is because sin is in the world. But there will come a day when the Lord will return and cleanse this world of all sin and all suffering.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (Rev. 21:4).
Reply:seems like this is just another excuse...people are so quick to blame their god...or praise their god for everyday things that happen naturally...it's easier that way for the average person to get through their day
